This is an Aladdin’s Cave of interest There is something for everyone Boys ,Girls, Men and Women , It has so much to offer set in the Heart of Cheshire there is so much to see and do Arts and crafts, Antiques, salon, restaurants, brewery. There is a huge outdoor activity centre too plus birds of prey too you cant go wrong and will not get bored either. I highly recommend this place, my favourite is the glass craft shop his jewellery is amazing .
What Genre of Movie do you like, Well you can watch it in comfort at the Odeon Cinema in Northwich with one of the 1st iSense screens in the UK it seriously is the ultimate experience in movie theatre comfort it is totally immersive . It has 5 screeens with a Costa coffee shop and a bar and drink option too, it is a stones throw from the Marina they also do brilliant afternoon matinee deals too ,You will not be disappointed
We Have an abundance of shops in Northwich within a 10 minute walk from the marina depending which want you are wanting to visit. We have all the major supermarkets Asda ,Waitrose Sainsbury’s Lidl, Aldi and Tesco . The beautiful Marbury Park , is a beautiful country park with lots of beautiful scenery and great walks , it lies in the heart of Northwich and is a legacy of when it was a grand estate with community orchards. The last hall was built in the 1850’s and was modelled on a french chateau it has a beautiful carriage drive entrance and it has a beautiful picnic and play area and the gardens are to be seen to be admired . Beautiful open spaces to walk your dogs or a family picnic .Cheshire at is prettiest.
The Weaver Hall Museum and Work House in Northwich Cheshire, records the social,cultural and industrial history of West Cheshire. It was formerly known as the Salt Museum, reflecting its early focus on the history of Salt extraction, a local industry dating back to Roman times. The Museum was renamed Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse in 2010 as its remit now extends to cover the broader history of the area and also the history of the building itself as a former workhouse. Built in 1839and is a Grade 2 listed building
The Lion Salt Works is the last remaining open pan saltworks in Marston, Near Northwich Cheshire England . It closed as a works in 1986 and is now preserved as a Museum it is a listed building grade 2. It is now a visitor attraction that has been restored and has galleries that illustrate how the works operated , and also the effects on the economy and landscape of Mid Cheshire. The building also includes a rebuilt stove house with it’s associated salt pan in situ ,the smithy engine house , a brine tank and the rail tracks used for transporting salt on the site . There is a cafe , conference facility and a Play area .
Every second Saturday of the Month, we have a beautiful Artisan Market selling original arts and crafts ,Jewellery and food some beautiful items especially if gift shopping for someone special. It is set right through the high street of the town centre .
